NEBS
'NEBS' happens on Monday evenings (during school term time) in the Church building at the Kirkgate. This is an informal group, designed by and for teenagers, and runs from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. Each week, the event begins with chat and nibbles to 8pm, after which there is a varied programme, usually consisting of an ice breaker for 15 minutes, followed by some music and Christian teaching, and concluding around 9pm each week with a time of discussion, and sometimes a prayer response. In addition to this regular Monday slot, occasionally, the teenagers go out socially as a group, or away for a fun weekend. The title was chosen by the teens and is an acronym for New and Exciting Bible Studies!!! |
