I would like to extend a very warm welcome to everyone visiting this site.
My name is David Broderick and I have been leading Currie Baptist Church for the past years.
My main aim is to take the church deeper into a relationship with Jesus. I aim to do this through personal and group discipleship

Before becoming pastor of Currie Baptist church, David spent four years at the Scottish Baptist College, and, before that, spent twenty-four years working for an electrical retailer in Glasgow. Originally from Oldham, in Lancashire, the whole family came north to Glasgow in 1970 as a result of a change in his father’s job. Now living in Currie, David and his wife Jane, are experiencing life in the East of Scotland after a long time in the West.
As a young man, David often stood on the terraces at Old Trafford watching Denis Law, George Best and Bobby Charlton et al working their magic for Manchester United, while occasionally having to settle for watching his local team of Oldham Athletic. David likes walking, music, watching Star Trek movies, computers and computing – though not necessarily in that order!
