| One of the ways some of the congregation serve God as a community, is by working on the care van once a month. There we get alongside those left on the streets. The care van is operated in cooperation with Edinburgh City Mission. We offer rolls, soup, clothing, and advice to Edinburgh's rough sleepers. It operates every night in the city centre. We are just one team from over 30 churches who staff the van. |

Care Shelter
We are also participate in the care shelter project which runs every night from late October to the end of March. The Care Shelter provides emergency accommodation in churches around Edinburgh for men and women over the age of 16 who have no other accommodation. A staff team serves hot meals and gives advice and information about services to help move people off the streets and improve their lives. Anyone without a place to sleep may use the Shelter, which is free of charge. Edinburgh City Mission and churches make this service possible. |
